When: Sunday, July 29th 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Join us for an afternoon outdoors at beautiful India Point Park celebrating Narragansett Bay and its watershed with performances by popular R.I. and regional musical acts such as Mark Cutler & the Men of Great Courage and Jay Feinstein & the Furnace of Love. There will be outdoor activities, environmental organization displays and booths, a free cookout, and fun Bay-related activities.
This head of the bay event is designed to raise awareness of Narragansett Bay, its importance as a recreational and community asset, and things people can do to protect and enjoy the resources of the Bay in the Upper Bay area. Holding this event at India Point Park provides a Bay celebration that is easily accessible to urban residents.
There is still space left for displays and tables!
We are offering outdoor display space to environmental organizations free of charge.
If you are interested in participating in the event please contact Lesley Lambert at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Check our growing list of sponsors and participating organizations in the column on the right.
