Regional Coordination
This group aims to understand the biodiversity of macroalgae, the role it plays in the ecosystem, and how it impacts seagrasses, oyster beds, and other habitats throughout the region.
Mission: Provide cross-state collaboration and coordination, advise state and federal management, and research macroalgae in the Narragansett Bay Region including Narragansett Bay, the Salt Ponds, and Little Narragansett Bay.
Current Objectives: Facilitate collaboration and coordination to develop a macroalgae timeseries to understand and address management and research concerns, and impacts to other habitats.
